At the push of a button it descends gracefully into position, and to complement the interior design of the room, a RAL9021 Black Grey finish was chosen.

London Firm Chooses Combination of Skyfold and Dormaglas HSW

At a leading tech firm’s offices in central London, Style worked with architects, T P Bennett, to create flexibility in the client’s meeting room and VR (virtual reality) centre.
In the meeting room, Style installed a Skyfold, fully automatic, vertically rising moveable wall with an impressive 54dB Rw acoustic rating. This pioneering moveable wall solution is housed discreetly in the ceiling cavity, and remains completely out of sight when not in use.

At the push of a button it descends gracefully into position, and to complement the interior design of the room, a RAL9021 Black Grey finish was chosen.
In the virtual reality area, a Dormaglas HSW was deemed the best option. This non-acoustic moveable wall offers simple and effective room division, ensuring the area retains its light and airy feel.

With the glass back painted in RAL 9016 White, it provides the required level of privacy when VR sessions are taking place.

“These two very different moveable wall solutions are a good example of the depth of our portfolio and our flexibility to find the right solution for each room,” said Michael Porter, Style’s group managing director.

“Skyfold never fails to impress, and thanks to its leading acoustic ratings, noisy events can run on one side of the wall without impacting upon quieter sessions the other side.
“The HSW glass solution is ideal where sound is not an issue, and was the perfect solution in the VR area. We see a lot of demand for this solution in shops, restaurants, airports and sports arenas.”

Style is the exclusive UK partner to Skyfold, Dorma Huppe and SWG offering an extensive range of moveable, folding and sliding wall solutions.
