At Russell Reynolds’ offices in London, Style worked with contractor, Thirdway, to provide flexibility in the meeting room. The client desired the ‘wow’ factor in room design and Style, Thirdway and Russell Reynolds worked closely to achieve this.
To divide the meeting area away from the large open plan breakout space, Style installed a fully automatic Dorma Huppe Variflex glass moveable wall, with Interpon Bronze frames. This runs the entire length of the room, and on the solid panels the client added its own veneer.
To further divide the meeting room into two smaller rooms, a vertically rising Skyfold, fully automatic moveable wall was added. This sits discreetly in a ceiling cavity, taking up no floor space whatsoever when not in use. It then descends gracefully into position at the push of a button providing truly stylish space division and, to add to its sustainability, a biodegradable fabric was chosen from the Skyfold Duvaltex range.
Offering exceptional acoustic barriers, the Variflex offers a 52dB rating and the Skyfold a 59dB rating, which ensures that meetings can take place undisturbed, while the glass moveable wall maximises the light, open plan feel of this stunning meeting space.

“By providing a fully automated solution means the entire area can be reconfigured with ease, and this also protects the moveable walls as it eliminates the need for any manual intervention and also ensures the acoustic seals are applied to the correct pressure every time the walls are put into place.
“By combining a Variflex and Skyfold in the same room, also delivers the wow factor that the client had asked for, and the quality of the finishes ensures both walls add to the overall interior design of this very stylish office space.”
